The Fellowship Hall is now complete! With the exception of installing outside lighting and landscaping our new addition is now finished.
As of Sunday, June 19th the new building and renovation is completelety paid in full!
The congregation of Bethel Baptist Church accepted a challenge of $372,000.00 to completely renovate the existing fellowship hall into classrooms and a staff office, plus a new fellowship hall, complete with kitchen and pantry. The kitchen is equipped with new appliances that includes a new food warmer.
The final cost was $518,884.16. The cost overrun was due to electrical and termite damage in the old facility, plus a great deal more concrete that was not in the original plan. The Fellowship Hall Committee worked tirelessly for 2 years and has done a remarkable job.
Bottome line: God provided this addition so we must accept the challenge.
WELCOME TO BETHEL BAWe must not become so inward focused that we neglect to tell the world about Jesus Christ! |
